You've done the hard work

The weight is gone. But excess skin brings challenges no one warned you about.

Excess skin and tissue is one of the most common yet least discussed realities of major weight loss. As GLP-1 medications and bariatric surgery help millions achieve life-changing results, many find themselves facing a new challenge they never expected.

After major weight loss, many people are left navigating what comes next. There's the pulling and discomfort with movement. The chafing and irritation where skin folds against skin. The frustration of clothes that never seem to fit quite right. And for some, the feeling that despite everything they've achieved, they're still not fully at ease in their own body.

You deserve practical support that helps you feel comfortable at work, in the gym, and in your own body — right now, not someday. That's what ActiveMX is built for.

Mary Forhan, PhD — occupational therapist with 35 years of clinical experience, former Scientific Director of Obesity Canada, and co-founder and CEO of Bariatric Technologies.

Why ActiveMX

Designed from the ground up for bodies after major weight loss.

Not repurposed shapewear. Every detail is built around the anatomy of excess skin and tissue.

Full-body support

Targeted support for the belly apron (pannus), plus the excess skin across the chest, back, buttocks, and thighs — not a generic compression garment.

14 sizes for real bodies

Fourteen sizes across a wide range of proportions. Use our easy-to-use sizing guide, book a free video sizing consultation, or ask our AI chat.

Everyday comfort

Holds excess skin close, so there's less pulling and chafing through the day. Smooth, friction-reducing fabric eases irritation where skin meets skin.

All-day discreet wear

A tank-style, mid-thigh bodysuit that sits invisibly under everyday clothes. Breathable, moisture-wicking, no bulk.

High-performance materials

67% nylon / 33% spandex heavyweight compression fabric with strong recovery, reinforced stitching, and durable zippers for daily use.

Clinician-acknowledged

Appropriate for consideration with Grade I–IV panniculus based on garment features. Suitable for recommendation by bariatric and obesity care teams.

Real people, real bodies

It hasn't erased the reality of excess skin — but it has made me more comfortable in my body.

Worried about getting the fit right?

Your body may still be changing, and fit can be hard to predict. If your first size isn't right, we'll exchange it at no cost to you — return shipping included. We'd rather earn your trust than leave you with a garment that doesn't work.

For Healthcare Professionals

A missing option in post-weight-loss care.

After a major weight-loss journey, many patients are left with excess skin and tissue. It's easy to read this as a cosmetic concern, but for patients it's a functional one. Excess tissue limits movement and exercise, adds mechanical load on the back, hips, and knees, and traps heat and moisture in the skin folds, where friction can lead to irritation and skin-integrity problems. These issues often persist for years before body-contouring surgery is an option — and for many patients, it's a lifelong concern.

Until now there hasn't been a purpose-built garment to support these patients day to day. ActiveMX helps hold and support excess skin and tissue for comfort and mobility — an everyday option appropriate for consideration across Grade I–IV panniculus based on garment features.

Common questions

Is this the same as compression wear from a pharmacy or sports store?

No — and the distinction matters. Generic compression garments and shapewear are not designed for the anatomy of significant weight loss. ActiveMX was built specifically to support a belly apron (pannus), with targeted reinforcement zones, appropriate compression weight, and an extended size range for bodies that have changed dramatically. It's constructed for durability, not fast fashion.

How do I know what size to order?

ActiveMX is matched to your body. Our easy-to-use sizing guide can help — you can find your size in just two questions.

You can also book a free video sizing consultation where our team helps you find the best fit, or ask our AI chat for help.

If the first size isn't right, we'll exchange it for free.

What's the return and exchange policy?

If the fit doesn't work, we'll exchange your garment at no cost to you, including return shipping. If you're genuinely unsatisfied within the first 30 days and an exchange won't resolve it, we'll provide a refund. We stand behind this product.

When will a women's product be available?
