Is this the same as compression wear from a pharmacy or sports store?
No — and the distinction matters. Generic compression garments and shapewear are not designed for the anatomy of significant weight loss. ActiveMX was built specifically to support a belly apron (pannus), with targeted reinforcement zones, appropriate compression weight, and an extended size range for bodies that have changed dramatically. It's constructed for durability, not fast fashion.
